Aubrey Dion (she/her) is an actor, singer, voice over artist, and director based in Lincoln, RI.  Aubrey fell in love with theatre at a very young age and never let go.  After graduating from PC with her Theatre degree, she earned her MFA in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.  

A particular interest of Aubrey's is audience engagement and interaction.  She has worked for several audience-focused entities (Science Heroes, The Wild Bunch at the Roger Williams Zoo, Pip's Island, & Dreamworks: Trolls The Experience) where she learned essential audience interaction techniques.  Her MFA thesis also involved audience interactions as she adapted Melanie Marnich's These Shining Lives into a 45 minute interactive theatrical piece.

Audience interaction naturally led Aubrey to children's theatre, and teaching youth acting classes with her husband, Dave.  She and Dave have also directed two youth shows, The Bugs and The Mystery of the Missing Letter, both by Don Zolidis, at J-DAPA.  Aubrey now works as a Teaching Artist for the Gamm Theatre, teaching youth theatre classes to kids after school.

Aubrey's newest venture is the launch of her own theatre company, in partnership with her husband, Dave Sackal - CoLab Studio Theatre!  Aubrey and Dave both direct, perform, and teach at their new theatre.  CoLab centers on works that are "uncommon, unconventional, underrepresented, and new."  Check it out at www.colabstudiotheatre.org
