JAYNE HANNAH – BIO

Originally from London, Jayne became an equity actor who replaced her love of stage work for stage fright. Through losing her acting confidence, she turned her focus to writing. Her first full length play “There’s a J in Majorca” toured the fringe UK circuit produced by Moondance Theater. Emigrating to US, she explored various writing forms and grew to love work which studies the human mind, spirit, and mental health. Notably the psychological thriller ‘Stalking’ which brings attention to sexual violence. Other writing work includes short stories, articles, and Emotional Intelligence presentations. She was proud to co-write a book about personal trauma with Linda Pestana, “It’s all about you and me”, which she has adapted into a play. Recent work has been produced by Actors Studio, MO, Speakeasy Stage, MA, Urbanite Theater, FL, Company One, MA, Studio Theater Worcester, MA, Wilbury Theater, RI, Connective Theater, IL and Vintage Soul Productions, NJ.
