Lorelei Barcelos is a multi-talented Actor/Director/Producer. Lorelei Barcelos (she/her) has a passion for performance and has engaged in multiple forms of theatrical entertainment. She is a recent graduate from Emerson College with a BFA in Theatre and Performance and a minor in Comedic Arts. As a young actor, Lorelei has worked with multiple student run and professional organizations. She has worked in multiple interactive theatre settings such as, Transparency and Beverly Annas Magnum Opus, these are shows in which the audience actively participates in the story of the world created. Different from immersive theatre, where an audience member does not participate in the story but rather steps into the three -dimensional space and views the show this way. Lorelei has also done devised work (We Are The Korai) where the story did not exist until a collective of artists came together and created the story, collaboratively and from scratch, with no script. At Emerson, she was in a sketch comedy group and became head writer. She did multiple Emerson Stage productions as well as student productions. After graduating she submitted her short play, PRUNE, to PVDFringe and became the playwright, producer, and director of her first play! PRUNE won best social commentary at the festival, and it was an incredibly educational and important experience. Lorelei has trained with some of the finest instructors in the field.
