Marilyn works on both sides of the entertainment field/ both as an in-demand SAG-AFTRA film & television actress, and as a PR & Web Design consultant for a wide range of published authors, established performers, and production companies.

Marilyn is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Born in South Boston she received her BA from Rhode Island College Department of Theatre and Communications, going on to act and direct for the stage throughout the East Coast. Being Irish through and through, she has made her career playing working-class women, chock full of sunshine and laughter - until they burn you with shade. Actress in "CODA", winner of the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast and taking home the 2022 Best Picture Academy Award. Seen on NBC, Netflix, Showtime, HULU, Apple TV+ and more.

Marilyn started at Providence's Perishable Theatre Arts Center as an educator and performing artist and soon was tasked to oversee the theater's public relations & marketing efforts. She continued to work both onstage and behind the scenes as an innovator for the theater's next 10 seasons.

Marilyn has been a publicist/graphic designer and marketing consultant for over two decades. Marilyn was then invited to join the communications team at Trinity Rep, Rhode Island's only Tony award winning theater company. She served 10 seasons with this prestigious LORT theater where Director of Marketing & Public Relations for Trinity she was responsible for over 93M in annual revenue, audience development and retention. She created brand management guidelines, was dedicated to outreach within underserved communities and oversaw the push to have the organization named The State Theatre of Rhode Island. She serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Film and Video: New England, is an active member of the American Theater Critics Association, International Theater Critics Association, Americans for the Arts, Public Relations Society of America, and the Rhode Island Press Association.
