Michael Cappelli

Michael Cappelli is a versatile and seasoned actor whose career spans stages from Providence to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and beyond. A graduate of Emerson College with both an M.A. in Theatre Education and a B.S. in Production Management, he has built a rich body of work across classical roles, new plays, ensemble creations, and solo performance. His credits include Claudius in Hamlet at Doghouse Theatre, award‑winning work as Dirk in Banyan with MiraTheatre Guild, and numerous productions with Perishable Theatre, Oakland Public Theatre, Boxcar Theatre, and ZJU Theatre. Cappelli’s range extends from contemporary drama to experimental performance, with additional appearances in staged readings throughout New England and California. A 2009 Solano County Arty Award recipient, he brings strong dialect skills, stage combat training, and teaching experience to every project, continuing to build a dynamic and wide‑ranging artistic career.
