Suleimen S
Poets and Spoken Word
Suleimen S is a math and chemistry student by day and poet by night. An author of a self-published poetry collection, 101 Ways to Love, he is constantly writing. We are not taught how to love, and 101 Ways to Love aims to shed light on hard-earned lessons and myths about love. Love after all, is not supposed to be difficult, contrary to what we often believe.
Residing in Rhode Island, he is an active member of the Rhode Island spoken word community, having been featured at many venues. He knows almost every poet in Rhode Island by name. That is, those that overcome stage fright and don’t pee their pants too quickly.
Most known for his series of rubik’s cube poems, in which he asks volunteers to scramble several rubik’s cubes and solves them while reciting a poem about the rubik’s cube, with deep meaning.
Currently working on a project with quantum computers at Rhode Island College as well as writing a novel, Suleimen always loves what he does, and does what he loves. Does he ever sleep?
Only when the professors are boring.
